The other day, as I drove and my husband and niece rode, I asked my six-year-old niece if she would like to going geo-caching again this spring and summer. "What is geo-caching? I forgot," she replied. I reminded her it was "when we used a GPS machine and we hiked in the woods until we found the treasure! We put a treasure in, and then took a treasure out."
"Oh, yes, I liked that. That's where we got that little doll," she reminded me. My niece really does have a good memory...sometimes better than mine.
So, we will take the GPS handheld unit my sister gave us after Bud died (may he rest in peace), and use it this spring and summer to find some more caches.
Ray, our builder (when we added on a modular home on to our 'camp') introduced us to geo-caching. I'm sure he will be happy to hear we will pursue it again this year. Ray the builder is a great one to hide caches in tricky locations. I was proud to find one in Northwood Meadows he hid without much difficulty. I may be a natural at finding them....
Ray the builder brought Ray my husband to several locations that are easy to find, so we will take our niece to these easy ones first, to kind of break us back into the hunt and for instant gratification. You know, kids need instant gratification to keep their interest. I like it, too!
Do you GEO-CACHE?
If so, please feel free to share some of your caching experiences or GPS locations.
Please reply!
Welcome Reader:
Whether you've just now tuned in to my life, or have been keeping up with my inner thoughts for quite some time now,
I welcome you.
Though you may or may not be entertained by my thoughts, it is for MYSELF that I pen a blog.
As a writer, I enjoy expressing myself.
When I write long romance novels, I am inside my head so much, I forget to focus on reality.
By writing once and a while on my blog, when the mood hits me, I have the freedom to come and go.
To pull up a chair and order lemonade or an ice cream sundae.
To either gobble it down, or eat it ever so slowly...
...until it melts into a concoction that resembles mushy milk.
Pull up a chair! Have a read. I hope you enjoy it.
I do...and that's what really matters.
I welcome you.

Lisa--I feel like your blog has taken a very positive turn. I like hearing about your life, things you do with Brianna, personal struggles and even daily activities. In a way, I am more connected to you by knowing what you have going on. Keep it up!
